The film depicts the insurrection, rebelliousness and also the solidarity in Santiago de Cuba, during the clandestine struggle of the urban fighters against Batista's dictatorship. Ciudad en Rojo will represent Cuba in the upcoming International Festival of Guadalajara, in Mexico.
