The film"Solomon" depicts a story of one unknown, talented musician, who is trying to establish himself through his art in one of the provincial Black Sea cities of post-Soviet Georgia, which is characterized by nihilism and indifference. Solomon's music can only be heard during feasts, in the basements or on the beach. The only person, who understands him, for whom his existence is essential, is his small daughter, who lives in the orphanage and rarely sees her divorced parents.The director Zaza Khalvashi was born on April 17, 1957 in Batumi (Georgia). In 1979 he graduated from the Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Philology. In 1982 - from Tbilisi Theatre Institute, Faculty of Film Directing, Tengiz Abuladze and Rezo Chkheidze's Studio. From 1977 to 2004 he worked as a director at Film Studio"Georgian Film".
