When her long-time boyfriend finally pops the big question, Isabel Lukens (Kimberly Williams) does what any right-minded young woman would do: takes off for Italy where she meets and falls madly in love with fellow American, Leo Roth (David Conrad). Wonder of wonders, the two hail from the same star-fated city of Los Angeles, but will their individual complications stand in the way of blissful reunion back stateside? Originally billed as,"a prolonged examination of a love affair," and produced by the acclaimed team behind"thirtysomething" and"My So-Called Life", Marshall Herskovitz and Edward Zwick, this short-lived ABC drama ultimately fell victim to a cursed time-slot and low ratings.
