After fleeing the Taliban in Afghanistan, 13-year-old Adina lives in Germany with her father and younger brother. While her father seeks comfort in mourning and his faith, Adina discovers her passion for dance, which she sees as her freedom. However, her father strictly forbids her from pursuing it. When the school announces a talent competition that Adina could enter with her dance routine, she faces a difficult decision: follow her dream and risk a conflict with her devout father.
